Soooo, apparently I just watched the last episode of TMNT 2012 series without realizing it. I thought watching TMNT would inspire me to draw more reptile chars but I ended up having a heartache. TMNT 2012 was actually a good show. I loved the action, character development, seriousness of the plot and most of their character designs. I guess the CGI thing isn't working for Nickelodeon anymore. I'm so gonna miss Slash and Leatherhead's designs...

Now, there's a new TMNT show called "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" which will be airing around September 2018. It's in old fashion 2D animation and Mirage Studios is part of it, which is nice, I guess. 
They released the character designs (cdn-static.denofgeek.com/sites…) and I am conflicted on certain things...

1) Raph isn't using his signature Sais
2) Leo only has one sword
2) April is African-American. (No offense, but she was always Caucasian)
3) Master Splinter is UGLY AS FK!! (vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/tm…)

I can't help but feel a TMNT Fast Forward vibe on these designs. Anyway, it seems like Raphael will be the Leader this time around, and Leo will be the "Cool Dude" instead. The role reversal is interesting, and I hope I can get use to it. I sure hope Raph decides to use Sais later on in the series. I know he's mostly a brawler, but seeing him with tonfas is weird. Well...seeing Raph as a huge roided Snapping mutant turtle is weird all the same. But you know me, I like huge muscular brutes.

God, I hope this series won't suck...

Why bother stealing them anyway? You never made them. You know you'll get caught and be reprimanded. How pathetic can someone be to use someone else's work?
Whatever this guys intention is, I hope karma will eat him like a fking bask of crocodiles.

Anyway, does anyone know how I can report this theft? Unfortunately, I don't speak/read Chinese.

Hey, guys. Just decided to come out of my months long hiatus. Sadly, I have lost my inspiration do draw anything. Recently, all i can do is doodle the face of my chars w/o doing the rest of the body. I realized that i lost my flare when i stopped watching any anime or cartoons. (I've been watching more of live-action drama like Bones, NCIS, Grimm)

Watching TMNT isn't enough since the episodes rarely come out. I was thinking of watching that Buddyfight cardgame anime. Is it good? I got an interest of watching it when I saw the card art of Iron Chain Dragon. If you guys can suggest any scalie-related or astounding anime, that will be great. I 'm also thinking of opening an art trade some time soon. But scalies only, I'm still a bit rusty in drawing beasties.

Just a little heads up on people liking my work. I am reeeeaaaally uncomfortable with people wanting to use my work for their little roleplays. I understand that you'd want to make other people visualized what you want to roleplay as, but it is better if you used your own work rather than mine. I just had a really irritating conversation with a certain person(who will remain anonymous) who wanted to use my recent redesign of Kouya for his roleplay. I kept telling him "No" as in"No" with a capital "N" yet he keeps persuading me. I even tried to talk to him in making his own design. Then he suddenly had the nerve to tell me that I can't stop him even if he wants to use it or not. I ended up blocking him. Judging from his avatar and spoiled language, he's probably just a kid in his early teens.

To stop something like that for happening again, I've decided to type this little reminder. I have nothing against roleplayers. Believe it or not, I used to roleplay back when I was in 7th Grade. I eventually grew out of it though. Anyway, I'm grateful that you guys like my work, but seriously though, don't use them without my permission...

Lately I've been looking at Kouya's design again. It just occurred to me that his grey fur doesn't strike as menacing or logical to me. He's a special ops soldier that lurks in the shadows. His grey fur doesn't seem to reflect his stealth. So i was debating with myself whether I should turn his fur a tad darker or just turn it black-ish brown. I tried testing in SAI using the "Kouya Redesign" file. I kind of like it but I wanted to know if you guys will like it too. There no sense in doing it if no one will like it besides me.

Next is Chaos, I've been working slowly on his Warmonger armor. It is similar to Chance's armor but with more spikes and chains. Still thinking whether I should still put his spikey shoulders or not. Not really a problem, just wanna give a heads up.

I just hope mine will still include my hobby. Never seem to get my mind to do any of it...
